Maison Serein occupies a protected limestone headland above Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Its long, low profile follows the contour of the land, allowing every principal room to face the Mediterranean while remaining unseen from the approach. A walled entrance court gives way gradually to a horizon of water, mature umbrella pines and pale stone terraces.

The residence was conceived around two modes of living: expansive rooms for gathering and quieter private wings that can operate independently. Sliding glass walls disappear into deep reveals, extending the salon, library and dining room toward a 28-metre pool. Six suites are arranged so that each receives morning light, its own planted terrace and an undisturbed view.

Materials were chosen for longevity rather than effect. Hand-finished limestone continues from exterior walls to interior floors; brushed bronze details will deepen naturally with age; and custom oak joinery keeps technology discreet. A separate wellness pavilion, secure service access and fully independent guest accommodation make the estate practical for year-round residence.
