ARCHITECTURAL STUDIES / ONE ADDRESS
One residence, read from three distances.

RESIDENCE NOTE / PRIVATE RECORD
A contemporary courtyard estate in the Palmeraie, composed as a sequence of shaded rooms, water gardens and precise desert light.
RESIDENCE NOTES
Rammed earth · cedar · honed travertine
Architecture understood through use.
Atlas Court is set behind an established olive grove at the quiet edge of Marrakech’s Palmeraie. The estate is organized around three linked courtyards rather than a single monumental facade. Rammed-earth walls hold a cool interior world of water, shade and framed views toward the Atlas Mountains.
Eight suites are distributed between the main residence and two private guest pavilions, allowing family and guests to share the estate without sacrificing independence. The central salon rises to six metres beneath a cedar ceiling, while smaller rooms for reading, music and dining open directly to sheltered gardens. Every circulation route is naturally lit and protected from the strongest afternoon sun.
The landscape is productive as well as ornamental, with citrus, pomegranate and olive gardens irrigated through a carefully managed water system. Craft is integrated quietly throughout: hand-cast bronze screens, lime plaster, woven cedar and locally cut stone. The result is substantial but restrained, designed for long seasonal stays rather than resort-style spectacle.
